Plant Based Published at Design Milk
I was recently featured in Design Milk for my participation in the Plant-Based design workshop. The workshop, led by Henry Julier, Director of Industrial Design at Standard Issue, and Jorge Diego Etienne, industrial designer and Director of the Design Program, was a three-day intensive session that included brainstorming and prototyping planters, vases, and plant stands.
During the workshop, we worked with cardboard prototypes that later evolved into steel and ceramic designs due to the material's durability. Under the expert guidance of Henry and Jorge Diego Etienne , we were encouraged to push creative boundaries while maintaining a focus on practicality. The final designs reflect the deep relationship between people and plants, emphasizing functionality, sustainability, and aesthetics.
It was an honor to have my work showcased as part of this feature, and I look forward to continuing to explore the intersection of design and nature.
