Premio Diseña Mexico at Franz Mayer
Premio Diseña México is a prestigious award that recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of design in Mexico, celebrating creativity, innovation, and cultural heritage. I am honored that my project, Discodroid 3000, has been selected to be featured in this year's exhibition at the renowned Franz Mayer Museum.
Discodroid 3000 is inspired by the innovative and futuristic aesthetic of renowned Mexican graphic designer Jaime Ruelas, particularly his iconic series of illustrations for groups like Polymarch. This project blends Ruelas’ avant-garde visual style with cutting-edge musical technology, resulting in synthesizers that replicate the characteristic sound of Hi-NRG music while embodying the visionary artistic principles of that era.
Being part of Premio Diseña México at the Franz Mayer Museum is a significant opportunity to share my vision with a broader audience and engage with fellow designers who are pushing the limits of creativity.
